DripTech Eco-Flow | Irrigation equipment in Kenya
Irrigation systems and equipment for Meru farms
Meru has a varied agricultural economy that includes coffee, tea, French beans, macadamia, fruits and other horticultural production. DripTech Eco Flow helps farmers match irrigation equipment to the crop, slope, water source and field conditions.
Match the method to the crop
Vegetable rows, French beans, orchards and greenhouse crops can require different water application patterns. Drip irrigation can suit defined crop rows and tree basins when the design matches plant spacing, soil and water quality. Sprinklers may be appropriate for other blocks where coverage and pressure are suitable.
Do not assume the same emitter spacing or number of lines per bed works for every crop. Confirm the crop spacing, root-zone needs and field layout before ordering.
Account for elevation and water quality
- Record the elevation difference between the water source and each field block.
- Where a farm has sloping ground, consider pressure differences and whether separate zones or pressure regulation are required.
- Check source-water quality before selecting screen or disc filtration.
- Size the pump for the required flow at the total head, including elevation and pipe friction losses.
- Provide accessible flush points and filter-maintenance space.
DripTech products and project support
DripTech supplies dripline, drip tape, emitters, filters, sprinklers, pumps, pipes, valves, fittings, fertigation equipment and irrigation kits. We can help identify the components required for a farm-specific layout.
Confirm delivery, site visits and installation availability for your specific Meru location before arranging the project. This is a service-area page, not a claim of a physical branch.
Request a Meru irrigation assessment
Send the crop, acreage, farm location, water source, elevation details if known and a field sketch. For an existing pump, include the model or nameplate so the flow and head can be checked.
